I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Ashley Michelle is a beast in the kitchen! While we were designing the shoot I ate and nibbled until I couldn’t taste test any more. I mean it’s okay to eat delicious treats at 1a.m. as long as your having fun and shooting right?! I can’t say enough about her amazing creations. These little babies are a great gift for the holidays. You can check out Ashley Michelle‘s blog. Drop her a line….or a box or two or three…I’m just sayin

Jasmine Star Workshop
I have been following Jasmine Star’s photo blog for about a year now. I fell in love with the way she spoke about her clients. I loved how she was completely in love with photography. She inspired me to push myself and we’d never met. So naturally when I found out she was hosting a workshop in November I quickly registered knowing that the seats would sell out faster than a Janet concert. How could I not jump at the chance to learn from someone that I admired so much?!
The workshop was an unbelievable experience to say the least. Jasmine and her husband JD were so incredibly humble and welcoming. I honestly feel that I am a better photographer from what I learned. Thank you for sharing your experiences with me and helping me better identify who I am and what I can do with my craft
Check out Jasmine at work.
Newborn: Stella Cruz
November 17th was the due date, but on October 11th 2009 Ms. Stella Cruz Thedford came into this world with her arms stretched out wide. I couldn’t wait to meet her and now I can’t wait to watch her grow. Last weekend Stella had her first photo shoot and I had my first try at shooting a newborn. I have to say I felt bad about moving her around so much. I mean if you were sleeping and someone was moving you around you’d probably be upset (I’m just sayin haha). But she was a trooper. Stellla auntie loves you
Quicky Session
Unexpected photo shoots are always a great surprise. Anytime I don’t have to pull someone in front of the camera I’m all for it. Like when my home girl Casandra called me up to get a couple of shoots one saturday. With no agenda we started the session with random conversation and a tale about her recent vegas trip. We only shot for about 20 minutes but I think we got some great shots. Cas claims she didn’t know what she was doing in front of my camera, but I beg to differ.
